"I think I'll go to Spain for my birthday."













Another beautiful day in Valencia was the backdrop for a visit to the City of Arts and Sciences. The morning was spent at the Oceanográfico (Aquarium), followed by a large format IMAX movie, "Los Alpes" about an ascent of the north face of the Eiger in Switzerland.




In the afternoon, we walked up the Jardines de Turia, a garden park set in the old bed of the River Turia, to the city center.













Kids of all ages enjoy Gulliver in the park.








For dinner, Eduardo had found a place near the hotel that cooked fresh paella -- they did not start the rice until we arrived and sat down.
